Introduction

Stoffels International pioneered the cultivation of aquarium plants in temperature-controlled glasshouses in 1957. We were also the first nursery to introduce the full-colour plant label to assist customers with point-of-sale pricing and control, a concept which has been adopted by the rest of the aquarium plant industry.

Our product range continues to expand in order to meet customers’ requests and expectations. We offer the broadest range of aquarium plants all year through, as well as quality fish foods (deep-frozen and live varieties), live insects, worms and frozen rodents for reptiles and snakes, the full ‘Easy-Life’ range and the ‘Seahorse” range of aquatic products, as well as small Pets. This comprehensive range of products underpins our “total service” commitment to the success of our clients’ business.
During the summer season, we complement our product range with Pond plants from our nursery and accessories for the garden.

We supply pet shops, franchise networks, garden chains, lifestyle chains, distributors and re-sellers across Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Portugal, Finland, the United Kingdom and Canada.

Our staff of 30 employees are multi-lingual, catering to English, Dutch, German and French-speaking clients. We work with transport partners who deliver our products usually within 24 hours of despatch from our nursery in Belfeld (Netherlands).
